A new device which uses the tongue to transmit visual information to the brain has been innovated. The device works by using the surface of the tongue.
The idea that is behind the sensory substitution is that the brain is capable of processing perceptual information no matter which organ delivers it.
Technology, as its core is developed to add something to our lives, to break down our barriers and make life better for everyone. Hence the blind can now see with their tongues.
