Non Profit Organization Send Cooked Food To Children Who Feed From Dustbin

The Stephen Akintayo Consulting (SAC), a non profit organization in Dustbin Estate, a part of Ajegunle in Ajeromi Local Government Area of Lagos State served cooked food to about 1000 children on Friday and gave scholarship to the poorest children.

The event took place at Canal Street of Dustbin Estate, an area where the poorest people live in Lagos. The people in this area eat and pass out faeces on heaps of refuge and a permanent offensive smell arise from a swampy canal.

Mr. Stephen Akintayo lamented over the poor state of the area. He said "When somebody told me about this place, I was moved to tears, When I came I saw people living on dustbin."

"This is why every year, we try to do something for them, giving scholarship to some of the kids and feeding most of them."

Akintayo then called on well-to-do Nigerians to support the community and the less privileged.
