A five-man robbery gang operating along Osogbo and Ilesha Road were arrested on Wednesday by the Osun State Police Command.
The suspects namely; Emmanuel Irem, Monday John, John Daniel, Abayomi Samson and Samuel Egbe,who were operating in army uniforms on the road, accepted they committed the crime.
Moreover, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, said the suspects live in Lagos but usually come into the State to rob and return to Lagos after they have succeeded in their operation.
In addition, he said the suspects were arrested through the joint effort of men of the command from Ile Ife and members of the vigilante Group of Nigeria.
The leaders of the gang, Stephen James, said he got the military uniforms from an abandoned building in a military camp in Lagos.
Presently, the police boss said that all the suspects would be arraigned before the court when the police have completed their investigation..
