The 27 Task Force Brigade and Nigeria Army Special Forces School Buni-Yadi was attacked by Boko Haram on Sunday. The Assistant Director Public Relations, 27 Task Force Brigade, Major Nureni Alimi said this in a statement issued yesterday. In addition, he said Troops of the 27 Task Force Brigade and Nigerian Army Special Forces School in Buni-Yadi, Gujba Local Government, Yobe succeefully defeated Boko Haram terrorists that launched attack on the military base.
Major Alimi said many insurgents were killed, others were injured by gunshots while a cache of Anti-Aircraft ammunitions, bombs, Rocket propelled Guns and two Gun trucks were recovered.
