An Indonesian woman, Deasy Tuwo has been killed by a crocodile that was kept as a pet by a Japanese citizen in Northern Indonesia.
The giant female crocodile named Merry had been kept for 20 years in a pond in the owner's farm in Ranowangko village, in the Minahasa region of the north Sulawesi
Province.
Town, a 44-year old scientist who work in the farm, did not return home after feeding the crocodile so her colleagues went to the farm to search for her the next day, and they discovered some of her body parts in the crocodile's enclosure.
The five-meter-long, 600-kilogram crocodile was captured and lifted by 20 people out of the enclosure.
Presently, the crocodile has been captured and moved by the local conservation agency, and police are investigating the case.
