The Oyo State Police Public Relation Officer,Olugbenga Fadeyi, said that the incident took place at Wema Bank branch in Sago.
Fadeyi reported that the mad man successfully came into the bank premises and climbed the bank's mast before the security staff noticed it.
However, He said that the victim, jumped on the roof of the bank before the security staff arrived.
“The impact has been a great deal that he landed on the roof and fell inside the financial institution.
“As at when the bank's door was opened the man was bleeding on the floor and was immediately rushed to the University College Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Again, he said the dead body of the victim has been deposited at the Adeoyo Hospital and investigations were on to know the identity of the man.
