Ladies Who Wear Leggings Lead Boys Into Sin Disappointed Mum Suggests

A woman who described herself as “mother of four sons” have appealed to younger females to stop wearing leggings which, she argues, are usually capable of influencing men passion and lead them into sin.

Maryann white who describes herself as a “Catholic made her thoughts and opinions known through a letter published in the University of Notre Dame student newspaper, The Observer.


“I’m simply a Catholic mother of four sons with a new problem that only girls could solve: leggings," she wrote.

When carpeted, White insists that she is usually “not trying to slander anyone or infringe on anyone’s rights."

Nevertheless she recalls an occurrence where she came across “a group of youthful women, all wearing extremely snug-fitting leggings and all putting on short-waisted tops” during a Mass service.


“Some of them genuinely looked as though the tights had been coated on them… Leggings are usually so naked, so fitting, so exposing.

“Could you think of typically the mother of sons the next time you decide to go shopping and consider choosing denim jeans instead? ” she laments in the letter.

In the mean time, Yahoo UK Style reports that the letter has been greatly criticised simply by students at the University of Notre Dame, with several respondents taking to Twitter to proclaim their right to put on whatever they really like.


What’s more, a University of Notre Dame-based student group, Reproductive: Health, has launched “Leggings Pride Day” as a new reaction towards the letter, contacting students to put on their leggings in demonstration.

They have even began the hashtag #LeggingsDayND.
