The twins' mother had admitted that she had a night stand with another man, after the paternity test. The result showed one of the boys have no biological relationship with the man.
According to report, the man was surprised because one of the boys never looked like him and so he kept questioning his wife after the paternity test results, before she later spill out the truth. The man had said that he would only cater for his child, but not the child the paternity test already prove is not his own.
The couple had actually intended to document the birth of their twin boys at a local police station when they were requested to submit a test to prove that they are the parents, according to Strait Herald newspaper.
Consequently, it is assumed that the birth of twins from two different father is rare, it usually occur sometimes. It is an unusual occurrence known as heteropaternal superfecundation. This happens as a result of a woman having sexual intercourse with two different men within a day before or after ovulation.
